GROW 360: Youth Development
Grow 360 builds upon that foundation through whole-child development experiences emphasizing executive functioning, leadership, and future readiness. Preparing Youth for Life. Before Life Tests Them.
At Grow House, we believe young people should not have to fail, fall behind, or face a crisis before learning the skills needed to navigate life and succeed in it. Our focus is proactive development, building essential life skills before challenges and skill gaps become crises. We intentionally teach and coach executive functioning, self-agency, communication, leadership, and other fundamental life skills that help young people manage themselves, make decisions, solve problems, set goals, think critically, and adapt to an ever-changing world.
Often called "soft skills" or "interpersonal skills," we recognize them for what they truly are: Life skills. Executive functioning skills, such as planning, focus, self-control, flexible thinking, and organization, help young people manage everyday challenges, work toward goals, and develop greater independence.
Our goal is to develop young people who can confidently say: I AM COMPETENT. I AM CONFIDENT. I AM READY FOR WHATEVER!
Our Culture: Ready for Whatever
Grow House creates opportunities for youth to practice thinking, choosing, communicating, adapting, recovering from setbacks, and moving forward.
We believe every young person deserves access to opportunities that help them discover their strengths, develop their voice, and build the fundamental life skills to shape their future.
"Average doesn't live here."
Not because we expect perfection, but because we cultivate a growth mindset that encourages young people to recognize their potential, challenge limitations, learn from mistakes, and keep growing.
Our Guiding Approach: Prevention Through Skill-Building
Our programs emphasize five essential areas of development:
Executive Function: Focus, planning, organization, self-regulation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Self-Agency: Recognizing how choices, effort, voice, and actions influence personal growth and future opportunities.
Communication & Relationships: Listening, collaboration, conflict management, public speaking, and healthy relationships.
Leadership: Developing competence, confidence, accountability, initiative, and service to others.
Future Readiness: Building essential competencies in literacy, digital fluency, health, and lifelong learning.
See It. Say It. Be It. ™
See It. Say It. Be It. ™ is both Grow House's foundational vision boarding experience and our guiding framework for youth personal growth and development. Through this approach, young people discover their strengths, envision possibilities, and express their aspirations while developing essential executive functioning skills to plan, make decisions, solve problems, manage challenges, and turn their goals into purposeful actions.
SEE IT: Discover possibilities, envision dreams, and develop a clear sense of direction.
SAY IT: Strengthen your voice, build confidence, and turn aspirations into clear goals and plans.
BE IT: Commit to purposeful action toward who they aspire to become and what they want to achieve.
This experience creates a meaningful starting point for continued personal growth and deeper skill development.
Looking Back. Moving Forward.
Our philosophy draws inspiration from Janus, the Roman symbol of beginnings, transitions, and looking both backward and forward.
Growth requires both. A growth mindset helps them understand that challenges and mistakes don't define who they are. Instead, they're opportunities to learn, improve, and grow. We do not define youth by yesterday. We help prepare them for tomorrow.
